Our team taught on the few kings of Judah and Israel at the time of Hosea based on the draft prepared by ren muh. Thank God for the burden in his heart to help the team. Hendrick finalized lessons and delivered the messages. The children understood and were blessed.
Art n craft were prepared in great detail. Eld John commented this is by far the most art n craft he has seen in any mission team. We had 4 days of vbs with one craft per day, minus the last. BK n Melissa were the i/cs and they prepared lots of stuff for children to do. Many things were pre-cut n stuck with double sided tape. It was indeed a lot of hard work, especially BK drawing and cutting out the 40 pieces of kings' crowns. Our team helped in other areas of preparation too and it was fun working hands on together.
The first night of vbs saw 8 newcomers, children from the neighbourhood. 2nd night had additional 4 kids to the 8. 3rd day had 4 more too n last day figure jumped to about 20. Not sure if kids came for games and goodies but the Word had been spoken and heard. May it fall on good ground and bear forth fruit. May God enable Robert & Dara to followup on these children and adults who came.
