Happier Note.... Isaac's Birthday!

29 september - Isaac's 16th birthday!

Our family didnt make plans for elaborate celebration but just a simple cake and family dinner. JJ did mention to me he would like to surprise Iz together with close friends and i told him no problem.

Ji En sms me on Sun evening asking if he could come over with Aaron on Mon to go thro the musical thingy. Told them to come at 4pm coz i had to buy gifts for Irene after my Mon class and could only return home at that time.

Isaac came home at 3 plus that day and i told him about the musical practice. He immediately smelled a rat. I assured him the practice was not part of any plan of surprise. He didnt quite believe me.

Ordered PIZZA HUT that day, almost 10 days after our family meal at the same restaurant.... only difference is, i could eat what i want now!

And so, it turned out the ONLY surprise Isaac received was JJ himself. He came at 6pm or so and we had to hide him in Rachel's room. And subsequently we got ready the dinner table and JJ was just tooooo slow to hide at one corner when isaac came down with Ji En.

We tucked in happily to the sumptuous and cheesy dinner.....couldnt be cheesy coz the delivery guy forgot to pass me packets of it....sigh. Guess i didnt order enough and had to "ration" food... haha. Aaron looked hungrily miserable :(

This was the first time i bought a Breadtalk cake and it wasnt that bad. Looked sweet with the full chocolate thingy but it was not.....just nice in fact.
