Confession, faith & prayer

ERh.....think i clarify this before anyone thinks my rheumatology doc is irresponsible to suggest Option A, which is do nothing about it. This was actually my suggestion and proposal and i added to my choice of option :)

Yup, we do play doctor sometimes. It's like you want to take control the situation tho you have no power over it. I tend to think i was taking a very strong step of faith, but it is the wrong way to go. Where is my human responsibility? Abandon all avenues of medicine and just pray for healing. "Bind satan, bind his legion and free me from chains of illness"....this is the charismatic way. Foolish. Remember Job? He prayed to God when all possible evil came upon him and never did he give up his faith.

"But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips." Job 2:10

"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." Job 13:15

Hmmm, guess I will only abandon medical intervention if i ever have stage 4 cancer of whatever sort.....coz i will want to have a better quality of life than to go for operation or chemotherapy or deep xray therapy to kill cancer cells that have already spread all over, but rendering me sick and weak. Oh boy, a little morbid here but sickness is something we cant avoid. It can happen to anyone, young or old.

Just read about Angela's illness last night or early this morning. Poor her, may God grant healing to the ulcers in her stomach and the bacteria infection present. With 2 sick persons in NTM team, may God magnify Himself thro us that the work will go on to the praise and glory of His Name.

"Use us, O Lord, we commit ourselves entirely to Your will."
