Thot i add the part about the man from a church who was out with some cancer patients at the botanic garden. He was playing the ukelele and i heard songs like "beautiful Sunday" and some others of which i could not remember the titles. Carrie & Peggy also couldnt recall.
When it was time to sing Happy Birthday song to Karen, i asked Lem to go and borrow from him.
Honestly, it looked like a banjo or small guitar from far. But then we realised it was ukelele....6 strings in all but 2 were double.... and so none of us could figure out how to use it. The old man walked over on his own coz he could see we were having trouble. Then he played the instrument!!! He didnt stop at Birthday song but went on to Burong Kaka Dua. I asked him to play Amazing Grace, and he went on to What A friend we have in Jesus and one or two more hymns. We sang together and he was very spontaneous and friendly . Talked a little with us before he returned back to his "camp". Apparently, he brought some cancer patients out to cheer them up and also to bring the gospel to them.....:o)
Ate quite a bit of stuff (potluck thingy) and took some pics... (you can see more in sharon's album in facebook).

We headed to town after that coz it was still early before the tracting session.... agenda??? Mostly to look for Shing's hat! Went to Heeren & then to Cineleisure. Sharon & Carol went to Taka to look for some stuff. We spotted this funny SUMO at the entrance of Heeren and couldnt resist taking a pic....
and with some posers....hahaha......
AS we were all in our flip flops and sandals... plus tees & berms... no one really took an interest in us in about 80% of the shops in Heeren!!! So stuckup they were.... and bad customer service too. Not even an acknowledgement when i said "Thanks" as i walked out...hmmm.... tho i didnt have to coz they never served nor attended to us!!!
Then something made me laugh......
Talk about stupid silly signs.....this one definitely fall in the category. Guess men weigh more than ladies and so they cost slightly more......hahahahahahahahaah............ Shing was so intrigued & amused that he was the only one who wanted to pose with it
Oh well.....we couldnt find a suitable hat and had to head back to Lot 1 for tracting. Will write a report on this plus the previous in another entry.
